State property belongs to all of us
I have contacted State Rep.(Sandy) Cole and State Sen. (Michael) Bond requesting that they co-sponsor and introduce a bill to eliminate the practice of our political figures placing their names on our state property.
I would encourage each of you to do the same.
Even when a political office change takes place by more favorable means, it is very expensive to update all of the signs, placards, vehicles, etc. The only identification should be with generic state symbols, department insignia and so forth.
We DO NOT need our elected politicians putting "their" personal names on "our" stuff!
Please contact "your" elected officials!
