Disappointed in Roskam 'no' vote
Congressman Peter Roskam, I am disappointed in your vote against the economic stimulus plan. President Obama reached out his hand to Republicans, listened to their input, made changes, and then no Republican voted for it. It is time to put the usual Republican games aside and to work for our country's well-being. Our country voted overwhelmingly for change in Washington. We want change in the way business is done in Washington. The Republicans have had their turn and failed which made our country worse off. Now it is President Obama's turn to work on things that our country needs. I expect you to cooperate with our president and to lead other Republicans to do likewise.
