Thanks for helping Salvation Army

More than 4,500 people in the Tri-Cities area were helped during the holiday season by The Salvation Army.

Needy families received food baskets for a holiday feast, 1,141 children received toys and clothing chosen by their parents and 500 nursing home residents were visited and received gifts. We are pleased to report that our goal of $300,000 was exceeded due to the generosity of many selfless citizens.

We are so grateful for each volunteer bell ringer, toy shop helper, each toy contribution, each clothing contribution and red kettle location. Please accept my thanks on behalf of those who were served during the Christmas season and were included in the warmth and fellowship of Salvation Army programs.

May God richly bless you.
