Williams leads No. 25 DePaul past Georgetown

Natasha Williams had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 25 DePaul to a 57-51 victory over Georgetown on Wednesday night.

Sam Quigley had 15 points and five assists as the Blue Demons (18-5, 6-3 Big East) won their fifth straight. Williams also had four blocks. DePaul's leading scorer, Deirdre Naughton, had two points on 1-of-10 shooting.

Jaleesa Butler had 17 points and seven rebounds and Shanice Fuller added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Hoyas (13-9, 3-6), who lost for the sixth time in eight games. Georgetown leading scorer Karee Houlette missed the game with an ankle injury.

Quigley hit a fadeaway 3-pointer with 1:02 remaining to give DePaul a 53-51 lead. Quigley added two free throws and a layup to close the game.

Butler's short jumper with 3:16 left gave the Hoyas a 51-50 lead. Georgetown used a 10-3 run to tie the game at 41 with 9:37 remaining
