CF Industries seeks Terra takeover

DEERFIELD - CF Industries Holdings Inc. said Wednesday it will nominate three directors for the board of Terra Industries Inc. to advance its bid to take over Terra. CF Industries also plans to start an offer by the middle of the month for Terra Industries shares at a ratio of 0.4235 of a CF share for each Terra share, it said Wednesday in a statement.
