Dan Rebholz of Elk Grove Village uses a chain saw to carve a seal in less than a hour at the "X'treme Ice X-hipition at the Elk Grove Village Library. Rebholz is a certified Master Ice Sculptor and will be competing at the 2009 National Ice Carving Championship Competition in Downers Grove next weekend. He carved a seal balancing a book on his noise out of a 300 lb. block of ice that took him three day to make. The library provided hot chocolate and popcorn.
