HSBC honored with green certification

METTAWA - HSBC North America has been awarded LEED gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council for its new headquarters building in Mettawa. The building was completed for occupancy in 2008.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the nationally accepted bench mark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings.
