Exploring the outdoors indoors
The 30th annual Chicagoland Outdoor Show, which wrapped up Sunday at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, combined both the traditional and the new.
Exhibitors and speakers on all outdoor activities, from muskie fishing to big game hunting to camping, were there for the thousands of visitors who came through during the five-day event.
A highlight this year was the "DockDogs" event, where dogs jump into a pool of water and are judged based on the distance of their jumps. The event is gaining popularity around the world.
