Thanks to residents of 50th district

To the constituents of the 50th district: My legislative career ended Jan. 12. I wanted to write to thank all of you for your support during the past 16 years and for the honor of representing you in Springfield.

There have been so many issues on which you have given your opinions and advice and many where we have been able to stand together to protect the quality of life that we enjoy in Kane, Kendall and LaSalle counties.

Many changes have taken place in our area throughout my terms of office, and I have had the pleasure of working with many dedicated people in the townships, villages, cities, and school districts to initiate good public policy. This experience has enhanced my life, and I will have fond memories.
