Man charged in death of woman found in trunk

Authorities have charged a male acquaintance of a woman whose body was found in the trunk of a vehicle near Frankfort.

Will County Sheriff's spokesman Pat Barry says 33-year-old Brian Trainauskas is charged with first-degree murder and concealing a homicide in Monica Timar's death.

The 36-year-old Timar was reported missing from her Frankfort home on Wednesday and her body was found on Friday. Will County coroner's office says she died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Barry says a judge ordered that Trainauskas be held without bond during a Saturday hearing. He's slated to appear for another hearing on Monday afternoon.
