Questions about Obama's decisions

While many people are "ga ga" over President Obama, I still have to wonder about his decision-making skills.

For now, let's ignore his past associations with questionable characters like Tony Rezco, William Ayers and the Rev. Wright.

Now we see him nominating Bill Richardson, who seems to have engaged in the pay-to-pay politics game and has to refuse the appointment.

Then he appoints Leon Panetta to head the CIA without any intelligence (background, that is).

Then he selects Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State when he knows full well that her husband's foundation receives large donations from foreign countries, although I'm sure that would not influence her judgment in any way.

And, of course, there's Tim Geithner, appointed to Secretary of the Treasury and HEAD OF THE IRS. But oops, he made an "innocent mistake" as those in the media like to say. He forgot to pay his taxes on his illegal immigrant nanny, which given the number of political appointees who have been discredited for that particular offense, seems unbelievable. Then he received pretax income from the IMF on which he did not pay taxes.

I'm no CPA, but even I know you just don't get free money. But as nearly all of the media proclaimed, it was an "honest mistake." Don't pay your taxes and see if the IRS just tells you it was an "honest mistake."

And spending $100 million on a coronation (inauguration) when so many people are in dire straits, that's just plain foolish.
