Blago straight from Roman mythology
While watching the governor swear in the members of the Illinois Senate and quoting Lincoln, followed by the Senate Sergeant of Arms serving the Notice of Impeachment on him shortly thereafter, I note the irony that all this is happening in the month of January. The month is named after the Roman god, Janus, who was usually portrayed as being two-faced. In Blago, we have the perfect embodiment of being two-faced.
