Promise to provide a beacon of hope

There is much speculation as to who is right in the battle between Israel and the Palestinians. If one really wants to know who is in the right and how it will all turn out, one must look at the scores of predictions made in the Bible. Check out the book of Ezekiel, perhaps beginning with Ezekiel 36:24 & 28.

The whole history of mankind can be found in the Bible. The Jewish people were chosen by God to make Him known to the world, but they abandoned their mandate. Yet God did not abandon them, but brought them back as a nation to Israel. His plans for the ages will be fulfilled, as were the manifold signs of Christ's coming, who makes it possible for us to be right with God despite our waywardness.

To witness the unbelievable feats of man's growing intelligence, it is extremely hard to understand why we cannot acknowledge that the source is God, the creator and sustainer of this life, who has promised an eternal existence to all who choose to believe Him. Even the dire prospect facing our economy cannot erase God's promise of provision for those who trust Him. Let this be a beacon of hope to many.
