Morissette swims with river dolphins
SAO PAULO, Brazil -- Isn't it ironic? Feisty rocker Alanis Morissette is communing with the dolphins and wild monkeys in Brazil.
The 34-year-old Canadian singer of such fiery hits as "You Oughta Know" and "Right Through You" is relaxing in the Amazon before a tour of Latin America's biggest country.
Folha de S. Paulo newspaper said Wednesday she swam with river dolphins in the jungle city of Manaus and sang to an Amazon tribe this week.
Morissette also fed wild monkeys in Manaus, the site of the first of 11 shows in the country.
Her 1995 breakthrough album, "Jagged Little Pill," which sold 30 million copies and won four Grammys, included the hit "Ironic."
