Skinny: The Flames wasted a big second-half lead and a golden opportunity to bump off No. 17 Butler on Saturday. That denied them any momentum heading into their four-game road trip, though they can start something against the struggling Titans. They've lost nine of their last 11, with their only wins over Central Michigan and a non-Div. I team. Opponents have really started to take away senior guard Josh Mayo's offense. He led the Flames in scoring in 10 of their first 14 games, but hasn't done so in any of the last three games. UIC also needs junior PG Spencer Stewart (bruised foot) to be healthy.
