Quakes shakes resorts in Mexico's Baja California
CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico -- A moderate earthquake has jolted tourist resorts on the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the 5.1-magnitude quake struck off the peninsula at about 4:50 p.m. local time Monday. It was centered about 120 kilometers (80 miles) west of Cabo San Lucas.
Local Civil Protection chief Francisco Cota says tourists and hotel workers reported feeling the jolt. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
