Al, where's your global warming?
The recent weather we've had and the record setting low temperatures across the planet are God's way of telling Al Gore that he should return his Nobel Peace Prize.
Future nominees for the prize should be required to vigorously defend what they've theorized with the experts in each particular field. Al Gore has refused to debate his assertions. This, despite more than 650 international scientists who recently dissented over man-made global warming at a U.N. meeting. The gentleman who launched the Weather Channel is among the skeptics!
Years ago traveling "doctors" roamed the countryside selling bogus medicines. They would bottle a tapeworm pulled from a farm animal and put this on display. The only way to avoid a creature such as this from growing inside of your body was to purchase medicine from the good doctor. An accomplice in the crowd would often give testimony on the medicine's effectiveness and get the crowd worked up.
Man-made global warming is the tapeworm, carbon taxes and levies are the medicine, and politicians, greenies, Hollywood stars and musicians are the shills. Unfortunately, all of us are the townspeople. It's time to stand up and proclaim loudly that the senator from Tennessee has no clothes. Stop this madness before the new administration lets things get out of hand. Write your Congressperson and let them know how skeptical you are.
It makes sense to use fewer resources and burn fewer fossil fuels, but the laws being proposed are outrageous and the sum total of your tax dollars that are about to be thrown at this "problem" is staggering!
