Let's have Cubs play at the United Center

While watching the New Year's hockey game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings on TV, I wonder how many of the fans attending were actually able to follow the play.

The vast majority of the seats were so far away from the ice surface, it was almost impossible to follow the puck. Perhaps as a counter play, we might see some brilliant marketing ploy of having the Chicago Cubbies entertain the Detroit Tigers at the United Center on this coming 4th of July. Imagine there could be indoor fireworks. This would complete the farce perpetrated on sports fans.

Ice hockey belongs at indoor hockey rinks and baseball belongs in baseball parks.
