Obama needs more strength of character

Barack Obama has shown his strength of character by calling Senator Harry Reid and telling him to seat Roland Burris as a U.S. Senator, even70 percent of Illinois wants nothing to do with Burris. This Illinois corruption scandal was showing to the American people the level of corruption and incompetence of the Chicago, Cook County and Illinois Democratic elected officials that Barack Obama rose from. Why is it that no one in the media has in the last two weeks said one word mentioning that Governor Blagojevich was one of the political mentors of then-Illinois Senator Barack Obama? I wonder what lessons Blagojevich taught Obama in his early political years. This scandal was also overshadowing Obama's inauguration and presidential appointments. I hope that this level of Obama's character is not going to be the norm for the next four years, ashe has to face down the terrorist threat to the U.S.James P. CadellMedinah
