Giving Tree efforts praised by mall

Spring Hill Mall would like to extend our appreciation to the people of our community for their extreme generosity in donations to 15 local nonprofit organizations this holiday season.

More than 1,000 Giving Tree tags were displayed on the Giving Tree this holiday season to provide gifts for children, adults and seniors in our community. Participation is voluntary and gifts were purchased by individuals and families, plus local clubs, churches and businesses.

When Spring Hill Mall started this program 22 years ago, the need was great throughout our communities and it has steadily grown ever since. Despite these economic times, response from the community has been overwhelming. Thank you to all who have enthusiastically met the challenge.
