Woman killed by train in DeKalb Co.

DeKalb County authorities say a Shabbona woman died after she was struck by a freight train in the village of Lee.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's office says 40-year-old Glynnis Koehler was near the tracks near a crossing early Sunday morning when she was struck by a westbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight train.
Koehler was initially taken to Rochelle Community Hospital, then airlifted to OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, where she was pronounced dead.
It was not immediately clear why Koehler was at the crossing.
