Palin shows rules don't apply to her
I know Sarah Palin is old news, but the latest about her soon to be son-in-law reinforces how out of touch she is. Levi Johnston, fiancé of daughter Bristol, quit his job. He was ineligible for the apprentice position he'd held since last fall because he didn't graduate from high school. Palin called the newspaper report on this a political potshot at her. Johnston's father said Levi is being treated different from an average 18-year-old kid: "He has to do everything by the book now."
Wow, what a concept, doing things "by the book!"
I'm sure there are lots of people without jobs or foreclosed homes who'd like some special treatment and who'd like to avoid doing things "by the book."
Palin's righteous rhetoric about her moral values is, in fact, rhetoric. She has shown once again that following the rules apply to everyone else but her and her family.
