Common ground with Obama
The reporters can't wait to write that the jet fighters used by the Israelis are American made F-16's. But they fail 99 percent of the time to report that the missiles fired from Gaza to towns in Israel are made in Russia (Grad and Katiuskas), and the long range ones made and supplied by Iran. Also, they have the gall to ask prominent Israelis why their response to the missiles fired from Gaza is "disproportionate." In other words, apparently they would like the Israelis to respond with the same number of soldiers and missiles. If the Palestinians fired five missiles, according to the reporters, the Israelis must fire back only five of theirs so as to keep it proportionate, balanced, fair, so as not to offend the reporters and the international community.
I think I am going to side with Mr. Obama (I didn't vote for him) when he declared in Israel that if his neighbor fires missiles to his house where his daughters are sleeping, he has the right to a forceful response. Indeed, the press takes for granted that whatever they print, the public in this country believes without questions.
