No one injured in Mundelein garage fire

No one was injured in a Mundelein garage fire that caused $8,000 in damage, according to a Mundelein Fire Department news release. The fire occurred at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of North Emerald Avenue. A resident working on his boat caused the fire, the release stated. Firefighters were at the scene for about an hour.
