Bail set for man arrested at O'Hare with gun

A Cook County judge has set bail at $75,000 for an Indiana man arrested for trying to bring a gun through security at O'Hare International Airport.

Forty-seven-year-old Goce Stojanovski on Tuesday was stopped by Transportation Security Administration screeners when he attempted to pass through a checkpoint with a handgun and ammunition in his carry-on bag.

A prosecutor said Wednesday there was one live round in the chamber of the .25-caliber Berretta semiautomatic. There were five more live rounds found in Stojanovski's bag.

The prosecutor said Stojanovski had gone to O'Hare from his home in Crown Point, Ind. for a flight to Florida.

Authorities say if convicted of attempting to board an aircraft with a weapon, Stojanovski could be sentenced to from one to three years in prison.
