Vogrich leads Lake Forest past Z-B

Matt Vogrich scored 35 points, as Lake Forest defeated host Zion-Benton 73-62 in North Suburban Lake Division boys basketball action Wednesday night.

Lake Forest (10-3, 4-1) jumped out to a 21-5 lead in the first quarter, but Zion-Benton (10-4, 3-2) came back.

The Zee-Bees went up 3 early in the fourth quarter, only to see Vogrich hit a 3-pointer and a layup.

Ronald Steward led Zion-Benton with 23 points.
