•Thieves stole a pair of diamond earrings valued at $2,290 from Kay Jewelers, 20530 Rand Road, around 3 p.m. Dec. 15.

Gurnee

•Castro X. Moore, 19, of the 1100 block of North Lake Shore Drive, Round Lake, and Correy C. Moore, 18, of the 6800 block of South Cornell, Chicago, were arrested around 11 p.m. Dec. 30 after they fought with a 19-year-old male customer at Applebees, 6447 Route 132. Castro Moore was charged with disorderly conduct, battery and criminal damage to property; Correy Moore was charged with disorderly conduct and assault. A court date was not available.

•Thieves stole scrap iron valued at $1,000 from a business on the 800 block of Oakwood Road overnight Dec. 28-29.

Lincolnshire

•Thieves made an unauthorized debit card purchase a business in the 400 block of Milwaukee Avenue. The theft was reported at 12:01 p.m. on Dec. 30. No value estimate was available.

•Police responded to an alarm at a residence on Wimbledon Court at 1:13 p.m. on Dec. 30, and discovered a door had been broken. The victim reported nothing missing.

•Thieves stole the identity of a resident of Windsor Court and used it to establish a credit account. The theft was reported at 4:29 p.m. on Dec. 30. No value estimate was available.

•Victor J. Lindsey, 19, of the 300 block of Fairlawn Drive, Round Lake Park, was arrested around 9:30 p.m. Dec. 22 at Washington and Beechwood Drive and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and reckless driving. His court date is Jan. 27.

•Vandals slashed tires on a vehicle at a home on the 900 block of Cedar Lake Road overnight Dec. 25-26. A damage estimate was not available.
