Bartlett High students compete in robotics contest

Twenty-five members of the Bartlett High School Robotics team ventured down to Auburn University in Auburn, Ala., Dec. 12 and 13 to compete in South's BEST, one of three championships of BEST Robotics Inc.

During the competition, the team had to do an oral presentation, engineering notebook, table display and interview, T-shirt design, and computer-aided drafting design.

South's BEST hosted 50 winning teams from competition sites in Illinois, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi and Alabama.

More than 3,500 students, teachers, team mentors, parents and other supporters attend the two-day event. The Bartlett Robotics team did not win any awards, but had a wonderful time.
