Rockford IceHogs defeats Wolves 6-4

The Chicago Wolves recovered from a 3-goal deficit late in the second period but fell victim to left wing Pascal Pelltier's hat trick, suffering a 6-4 loss on a pair of third-period goals by the Rockford IceHogs at the Rockford MetroCentre Saturday night.

Forwards Spencer Machacek and Jordan LaVallee and defensemen Jamie Rivers and Zach Bogosian scored goals for the Wolves. Bogosian's power-play goal was the first professional point for the 18-year-old, who was assigned to the Wolves by Atlanta for a conditioning stint earlier in the day. The rookie defenseman, playing in his 10th professional outing, was the Thrasher's first-round choice, third overall, in the 2008 NHL entry draft.
