Late Rockford goal beats Wolves

Late Rockford goal beats Wolves: The Chicago Wolves tied the game midway through the third period, but left wing Rob Klinkhammer scored with 57 seconds remaining in regulation to give the visiting Rockford IceHogs a 3-2 AHL victory Friday night.

The win was Rockford's first regular-season victory at the Allstate Arena. Klinkhammer scored the winner on a quick blast past Wolves goalie Brent Krahn at 19:03 after Wolves defenseman Brian Sipotz had tied the score with just under 10 minutes to play with an assist from right wing Spencer Machacek.
