We've heard claims of innocence before

In his speech Dec. 19, Gov. Rod Blagojevich proclaimed, "I'm dying to show you how innocent I am."

Years ago, another politician looked straight into the camera and stated, "I did not have sex with that woman."

I perceive a disturbing similarity in their moral values.
