Police looking for Aurora bank robber
An armed suspect escaped with an undetermined amount of cash Friday from the Associated Bank at 301 W. Galena Blvd. in Aurora. A police spokesman said no shots were fired and no one was injured.
The Aurora police received a call concerning a bank robbery at 5:42 p.m., according to police spokesman Dan Ferrelli.
The suspect is described as a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a mask, and carrying a handgun. He demanded cash from a teller and was last seen fleeing the bank west on foot. There was no report of a vehicle used in the robbery.
The Kane County Sheriff Department's K-9 unit also responded, but the suspect was not found in the area.
One customer and four employees were in the bank at the time.
The FBI will be investigating.

According to Ferrelli, calls to the Aurora Crime Stoppers are anonymous.
Anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest is eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
