Sandwich shop opens in Kildeer

KILDEER - Jimmy John's Sandwich Shop opened at 20771 N. Rand Road in Kildeer. The 44-seat restaurant is located in the Best Buy plaza across the street from Deer Park Town Center. The company was founded in 1983 by 19-year-old Jimmy John Liautaud in a converted garage in Charleston, Ill.
