Schools should teach second language

In the past, learning a foreign language has never been correctly stressed in school.

I believe it is time to change the current attitude, and make school districts implement mandatory second language classes starting in elementary school. Even though it may seem like a very young age, it is the best time to enforce good learning habit that can be built upon in the future. The skill of speaking two languages is very impressive, and no doubt benefit these children's business and personal lives.

Ultimately adopting a second language also will help out in the world market, as we grow better suited to fit our customer's needs. It is for these reasons I believe schools should make second language acquisition mandatory, and give the next generation the tools they will need to succeed.
