Wolves fall apart in third

The Chicago Wolves squandered a 3-0 third-period lead in a 5-3 loss to the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday night at the Allstate Arena.

The second-place Wolves trail the first-place Admirals by 3 points in the West Division.

Wolves goaltender Ondrej Paveleck held the Admirals scoreless for 44:48 before the third-period collapse.

"Four power-play goals - that was where the breakdown was," Wolves coach Don Granato said. "We got frustrated and we complicated things instead of simplifying them. They have a very good power play and we paid the price."
