Anyone find a time capsule?

ROCKFORD -- Members of a Catholic church in Rockford say they're looking for a near century-old time capsule that has gone missing.

The time capsule was closed in 1909 to be opened at St. Anthony of Padua church in 2009. The capsule was laid in the cornerstone of the church, but when parishioners went to find it earlier this year it was missing.

Church members think the steel box time capsule was lost as recently as 1984, when the cornerstone was moved to a new building.

Now parishioners are asking anyone who may have the capsule to deliver it to the church. The pastor also plans to dig through the church to make sure it hasn't been misplaced.
