Man robs Des Plaines bank
Police are looking for a man who robbed TCF Bank in Des Plaines on Friday afternoon.
According to a news release, a man at 4:04 p.m. entered the bank on the 1500 block of South Lee Street, approached a teller and implied he had a gun.
He then ordered the teller to give him $50 and $100 bills.
The teller then handed over an undetermined amount of cash to the robber, who then fled.
Police describe the suspect as a bald, 6-foot-tall black man with an athletic build between 30 and 35 years old.
