Grayslake Central falls at State Farm

Peoria Notre Dame 64, Grayslake Central 45: At Normal West on Day 1 of the State Farm Holiday Classic, the Rams saw their six-game winning streak snapped.

Alex Anderson scored 16 points (two 3-pointers) for Grayslake Central (7-3), which plays Rock Island Alleman at 11:30 a.m. today at Illinois Wesleyan's Shirk Center.

Northridge Prep 55, Grayslake North 46: At Grant, the Knights lost despite 14 points from Rollin Idlas.

Grayslake North (5-5, 1-2) also received 12 points from Michael Verwijst and 10 from Grant Henricksen.

The Knights play Richmond-Burton at 3 p.m. today at Grant.
