North Stars win again at Jacobs

St. Charles North's boys basketball team moved into the semifinals of the Jacobs Tournament for the second straight year with an 86-58 win over Crystal Lake Central Tuesday.

Five North Stars scored in double digits. Nick Neari scored 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting to go with 5 assists and 4 steals.

David Johnson drained four 3-pointers for 12 points and Mike Kastel had a team-high 7 boards. Connor Buston led the Tigers with 17 points.

The North Stars (6-4) will play Prairie Ridge at 6 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.
