Volunteer Center grateful for support

During this holiday season, the Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago, Arlington Heights, would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone for the outpouring of clothing, food, toys, gift cards, baby items, monetary donations and offers of your time and talents.

Because of your generosity, the holidays will be brighter for many of the less fortunate in our area.

We are especially grateful to everyone who has volunteered to provide entertainment, bake cookies, wrap gifts and assist at holiday parties, nursing homes, homeless shelters, and other facilities for those in need.

Some of you have volunteered to adopt a needy child or family and others have sponsored food or clothing drives.

The Volunteer Center would also like to thank all who have supported our organization over the years. Because of your generosity, thousands of volunteer hours and untold resources have been provided for community residents.

We depend on gifts, grants and the generosity of individuals, corporations, and agencies for the funding necessary to carry out our mission which is to serve those in our community through volunteer support.

Your financial donations would be appreciated so that we can continue to carry out our vital work. Contributions may be sent to: The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005.

Thank you, and best wishes for a joyous holiday season, and a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.
