Township thankful for generosity

Fremont Township would like to thank everyone who contributed food, gift cards, and monetary donations to our food pantry. These donations will help feed our residents throughout the winter months. Mundelein High School, Fremont School, and Carl Sandburg School sponsored food drives. Our Share-the-Harvest Thanksgiving Basket Program was very successful; 70 meals were distributed to our residents. The Mundelein Police Department and Elly's Pancake House donated turkeys. In these tough economic times, it is comforting to be part of a community that is so generous and caring.
