Treasury knows real meaning of freedom

Unlike some, I had the utmost confidence in our Treasury Department when they asked for $700 billion without any basis for the number.

Why would it matter where the dollar amount came from? "It's not based on any particular data point," a Treasury spokeswoman told Forbes.com. "We just wanted to choose a really large number."

It turns out, they haven't kept track of who has received the billions that have already been doled out.

Anyone who questioned this plan can now rest easy; our country's financial future is in good hands. My only hope is that the heroes leading this charge will receive the Congressional Medal of Freedom.
