Break-in suspect found in bushes

The Waukegan police said they have arrested a man who tried to force his way into a home on the 1300 block of Ash Street early Sunday morning.

Michael Denson, 24, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, disorderly contact and resisting arrest.

Officers responded to a call of a home invasion and caught Denson hiding in the bushes, according to a news release.

Police searched the area and said they found a .25-caliber pistol near where Denson was hiding. He is being held at the Lake County jail on $100,000 bond.
