Dine with Santa ... or on free steak

Morton's The Steakhouse marks its 30th anniversary this weekend with a few offers. Free steak sandwiches are doled out on Friday, while Mortons will donate $30 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for every party that dines at the State Street location on the anniversary date of Sunday, Dec. 21.

Santa in St. Charles

Dress your kids up in their holiday finery for a photo with Santa at the historic Hotel Baker's annual Breakfast With Santa. Reservations are required.

8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Hotel Baker, 100 W. Main St., St. Charles. $22.95; $14.95 for kids ages 4-10. (630) 584-2100.

Lunch with Santa

The historic Village Tavern hosts its 32nd annual Lunch With Santa and Friends. A special children's menu is offered at the two seatings, while adults can order off the regular lunch menu. Reservations are required.
