Fight Dist. 214 tax hike at Dec. 11 meeting

I urge every homeowner to voice their opposition to the proposed tax increase at the Dec. 11 meeting at Forest View Educational Center at 7 p.m.

To paraphrase Sherry Koerner, the district's director of business services, (she says) they've never had any backlash yet to their tax increases.

Doesn't she know what's going on in this economy?

Remember that between 1997 and 2007 the district has increased your taxes a whopping 34 percent. It's time to speak up.
