Blagojeviches likely found a lawyer
High-profile criminal defense attorney Ed Genson says he'll likely defend embattled Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
Genson told reporters Sunday evening that he has "to check some conflicts, but I'm sure I'll be retained." Blagojevich and Genson met at his downtown Chicago law offices on Saturday and again on Sunday.
The governor wore a running shirt as he left Genson's office Sunday with his wife shortly before 6 p.m. Reporters hollered questions at Blagojevich but he responded only to wish everyone a merry Christmas.
Genson has said the two would decide Monday if Genson would be retained.
The governor is accused of federal corruption, including trying to sell President-elect Barack Obama's vacant Senate seat. Patti Blagojevich has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
