Waste Management to raise dividend 7.4 percent

Waste Management Inc. plans to raise its quarterly dividend by 2 cents, or 7.4 percent, to 29 cents a share.

The increase is part of a $1.3 billion capital allocation program for next year, Houston-based Waste Management said today in a statement distributed by Business Wire.
