Aurora police search for kidnapping suspect
Aurora police are searching for Cedric T. Flax, 18, of Aurora, in connection with a woman's unlawful restraint where she said she was kidnapped and sexually assaulted on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
The 25-year-old woman reported to police that around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday she left her vehicle unlocked and running in the parking lot of a gas station on the 300 block of west Galena Boulevard.
When she returned to the vehicle, police reports said a man was hiding in the back seat, grabbed her around the neck and put a gun to her head. She told police the suspect forced her to drive to a far east side apartment complex, where she was sexually assaulted inside the building.
Afterward, the woman told police she was forced to drive to another apartment on Aurora's west side and was held against her will until 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10. The suspect then allowed her to leave, she said in her police report.
The woman was treated and released from an Aurora hospital.
