Charlestowne Mall to throw holiday bash

On Saturday, Dec. 13, Charlestowne Mall invites the residents of St. Charles and the surrounding communities to enjoy a day full of holiday entertainment.

Classic Cinemas presents "It's a Very Muppet Christmas!" at 10 a.m.

Also at 10 a.m., the Addison Park District Dance will perform, followed by 3rd Street Dance & Theatre at noon. Wild Rose Elementary School orchestra will perform at 2 p.m. and the St. Charles School of Dance will perform at 3:30 p.m. The performances will be held in the lower level near Center Court.

Charlestowne Mall welcomes the return of the Anderson Animal Shelter Pet Adoption Fair. Dozens of adoptable pets will be on-site ready to meet their new best friend, so bring the family from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the lower level near Carson Pirie Scott.

In addition, Picture People invites pet owners and their furry companions to take advantage of a professional photography session. All proceeds will go to serve the thousands of animals that Anderson Animal Shelter helps each year. The shelter is dedicated to the compassionate and humane treatment of homeless companion animals through direct care, education and community outreach programs.
