Briefs: Taxi subsidy considered

Lombard trustees are considering changes to the village's taxi subsidy program. Officials suspect some individuals who are purchasing the discount coupons are not using them as intended for trips to their doctor's office or the grocery store. The idea of "fine-tuning" the program was pitched at a recent board budget meeting.
